This week's challenge with the MDC DT was to use acetate. Here is what I came up with. I made this card more the shape of a tag, but the size of a card. I stamped on acetate using Stazon and colored with copics on the reverse side of the acetate. I added stickles to the "ice" underneath these adorable guys (Serendipity Stamps). The background pattern paper is by Best Creations. The glittery snowflake is a Christmas ornament from Michael's. Be sure to swing by the MDC Challenge blog to see all the great creations of the team or the individual team blogs here.
Also CHECK OUT THE DT CALL DETAILS HERE for the Mothers & Daughters Scrapbook team. The deadline is tomorrow so there is still some time to submit your work!

This week's challenge with the gals from Mothers & Daughters Creations was to make a Fall themed card using glitter (or perfect pearls). I picked some awesome paper by Best Creations to use in my layers. My solid colors are Su Really Rust and Mellow Moss. I colored in this awesome Serendipity Stamps image using copics and added some stickles to it.
Be sure to swing by the MDC Challenge blog and check out what the rest of the design team cooked up for this glittery challenge.
That's if for now. Thanks for stopping by.
Check out this Snowmen Choir! This is an awesome set by Queen Kat Designs called Build a Snowman. I tried to make each of my snowmen different. This "tehcnique" is the Stair Step Fold which was the featured technique on SCS last week.
I used ballet Blue by SU and pattern papers by DCWV. The glitter snowflake is actually a Christmas ornament I had in my stash and the snowflake in the middle is an already made embellishment for scrapbooking (source unknown).
There is alot of posting going on in the Queen Kat Gallery as the DT is having a "posting" challenge. Check it out HERE for some awesome inspiration.

Here is Lauren's Sketch challenge for this Saturday. Pretty basic and simple and you know how beautiful Lauren does simple. I decided that I wanted to use my Queen Kat Designs stamps for the sketch challenge so this is what I came up with, not so much simple and elegant as Lauren's card, but I thought it still worked ok.
Be sure to swing by the blogs of the other Saturday Sketch girls (links listed on my side bar) as I'm sure they will have some super fun creations to share.
This second creation was for this past week's sketch challenge at SCS. The images are also by Queen Kat Designs.
Sorry for the quick post today but I have lots to do.
Thanks for stopping by!
This is my 2 year old "stamping". Both my cuties love to get into my stuff and "make a stamp" as they call it. TOO CUTE...
Yes this is a Unity Stamp from The Boo Crew and it's on a Unity Block. So I attempted the challenge with my main man in my life! Does that count toward the challenge?
Well that's all I have for now....
Thanks for stopping by.
Till Later.....
I started with SU Eggplant Envy as my base. (This is an 8x8 scrapbook page.) The orange pattern paper is by Best Creation and the purple is by My Little Yellow Bicycle. I used my Fiskars pumpkin punch to punch out the embellishments. My half circles under the photo where cut using the scalloped circle nesties. To create the title I just typed it up on the computer and printed it on white cardstock.
Be sure to hop on over to the MDC Challenge blog to see what the other DT members came up with, I'm sure they will have some amazing Halloween pages!
I hope that you will like to play along with this great sketch challenge. MDC is offering wonderful prize this week. I decided to pull out these great "friendly" ghosts from Serendipity for this sketch. Yes I know I've been doing alot of Halloween cards but heck it's October and I have these awesome stamps so....
Here is my take on the sketch. I embossed the ghosts in black and cut them out. I created layers using these awesome pattern papers by My Little Yellow Bicycle and the purple background one with the bats is by Debbie Mumm.
Well that's all for now.
Till later...
It's Thursday and that means another fun challenge with Mothers & Daughters Creations. Linda is our hostess with the mostess this month and this week she picked a Halloween Treat Box for us to make.
I will admit I did not make this box. I have a bunch of wedding favor boxes on hand that work perfectly! I covered the box in basic black then added some fun Halloween pattern papers by My Little Yellow Bicycle. I stamped the spooky house image and colored with copics, then cut it out. I added Stickles to the door and windows (sorry the picture does not do that justice). Of course I had to add a Halloween goodie in the box so I put some candy corn.
ETA: If you play along this week with the MDC challenge you have a chance to win a super cool stamp set by Basic Grey. CHECK HERE!

This first one was to case one of Sherry's awesome creations. I picked her card here using the awesome Unity Kit Giggle Groove. I changed the colors and the sentiment. The paper I used is by SU and Basic Grey.
This second card is for AJ's Sketch Challenge. I used SU Regal Rose and some glitter paper from a DCWV stack pack. This butterfly is from the Unity Kit Floral Fantastical. I added stickles to the middle of the butterfly.I'm up on the UNITY BLOG today sharing some cards I made using 2 stamp sets! I used the February background of the month called as...
