Scribbly Birds - Just Us Girls Color Week

Sweet Stamp Shop Grand Re-opening

Sweet Stamp Shop is revamping and having a Grand Re-Opening!  A new look and new stamps are coming.  I am thrilled to have been in a group of customers who had access to a new image to play with and share for this fun event!

Happy Saturday!  It's time for another Just Us Girls challenge!  This week is word week and our word is SPRING!

I decided to go with an Easter floral theme:

This image is a stamp I saw at Hobby Lobby and just loved so I got it.  It's a wood mounted stamp by Stampabilities.  I paper pieced the shell and added paper flowers.

Unity Friends with Flair

Hey there!

It's Friday and time for some flair Unity style!

I decided to use my new Betsy the fairy stamp (LOVE IT) and some very simple watercolors!

Here is what I did:

I just love using the watercolors now for coloring images.  I'm finding it easier and much more fun.  I use water brushes to do this.  I have both of the Ranger water brushes and I also have others from Stampin Up and my local art supply shop.

Mixed Media Mojo - April Fun

This month we are welcoming a few new members of our Mixed Media Mojo Design Team but we are also saying farewell to one member!

Niki has decided to step down from the Design Team (after this month) and she will be missed.  However we understand how busy life gets and wish her all the very best!  Niki be sure to come and visit!!

The Mixed Media Card Challenge

It's time for a new challenge at The Mixed Media Card Challenge.

This month the Theme is Flowers with Basket being optional.

Here is what I did:

I have bunches of fabric and paper flowers floating around so I used some.  These are fabric ones.  My background paper is a "wood" style paper and I used punchanella, gel and white ink on it.
