Just Us Girls Color Challenge

This week at Just Us Girls it's color week!  We have Plum, Ivory and Olive!

Here is what I came up with using Stampin Up Cardstock and Unity Stamp Co. stamps.  I colored my images using Dylusions inks with a paintbrush.

Just Us Girls

 I pulled paint from a Gelli Plate then used a SU die to cut out the butterflies.

Gelli Printing Fun!

Gelli printing fun!  I've been into playing around with my Gelli Plates.  I have the small, medium and large ones.  The small one creates perfect sized prints to then use on a card front.

Here are some I made recently:

I started with some Golden Paints (Orange and yellow) on these and put them on the plate using a brush.  Placed the starburst stencil seen below and pulled a print through the stencil (left pic).  The right pic is one I pulled on the paper directly from plate.  Then I cleaned the plate and applied Black Golden paint to the plate.  Placed the face stencil on the plate and then used the two previous prints to pull the face print in black. The 2 prints below were done the same way.  Unfortunately I didn't grab photos of the process this time but I'll try and do that next time and post a full picture tutorial.  If you have any questions let me know!

Mixed Media Mojo

It's May and time for another Mixed Media Mojo!  

Here is a journal spread I am sharing for this month's challenge!  

I have been working ALOT in my Dylusions journals!  This is the smaller one which measures 8 x 5. Here I used Dylusions paints with a brayer in the background.  Stenciled a bit over it added some stamps.  The burst flowers on the right are from Unity Stamp Co.  And the other images are from the Dylusions line. I added some "faux" stitching on the stems of the flowers and around the border.

I like to color using the Dylusions inks from the sprays.  I just spray a bit in a palette dish and use it with a brush to color images!
