Craft Fair

So I have my first Craft Fair this weekend. Not sure what to expect in terms of how big or small. I don't expect too much (I don't want to get my hopes up) but we'll see what happens.

I am bringing all my cards, I even got a card rack from displays2go which I was super pysched about. But besides cards I have my magnets, necklaces, pendants, boxes...

Here is what my table is starting to look like:



I have it set up in my garage to get it ready, snowmen are not coming to the fair! LOL! The banner I just finished and I'm still trying to figure out the best way to hang it on the table with the table cloth. After this photo I added velcro on the back to see if it will hold.

I made something new for the show as well. I found wooden boxes at AC Moore to alter and using some napkins I did this:




These boxes are great little jewerly boxes or the perfect size to hold a gift card inside.

JUST US GIRLS Challenge #103

WOW, it's the Just Us Girls 103rd challenge today! OH MY! That's alot! I'm honored to be a part of the JUGS team from the very beginning. It's a fabulous fun group to work with.

This week I am the hostess over on the JUGS blog and with it being 3D/Template week my challenge is to alter a box using fall (as in the season) as a theme! I LOVE fall! Here's hoping we get some nice fall weather soon, it's been muggy and rainy here.

Here is what I did using a pop tart box:

I used images from Unity Stamp Co and {ippity}. The sentiment give thanks is from a KOTM by Unity Stamp Co. The baners you see is actually an {ippity} stamp from the kit called The Best. And the flowers are from the {ippity} kit called My True Joy.

Friends with Flair Friday

Hey there! TGIF and time for another Friends with Flair Unity style.

This week I wanted to share something I made using a template from Creations by AR called Gift and Card Combo. I wanted to create something that can be a card but hold wooden pendants I was making to sell at fairs.

Here is what I came up with:






So my pendant is not that large so I used some paper to fill the inside, but I think it works.

{ippity} fun with the SCS sketch

This morning I had time to play along with the Splitcoaststampers Stampers weekly sketch challenge! I pulled out 2 of my favorite (well they all are really) {ippity} kits: New Season, New Wonder and Music of the Heart.

This is the sketch:



Here is what I came up with for this week's sketch:

I used Stampin Up card stock and pattern papers by Basic Grey. I stamped the pear 3 times (using Memento Dew Drops to create the color) and cut it out. I thought it would be fun to adhere in the middle panel. The middle pear is on dimensionals as is the middle panel. I love the colors so perfect for fall.

Just Us Girls COLOR Challenge

It's Saturday and time for another fun challenge with Just Us Girls! This week the wonderful Elise is our hostess with a super awesome color challenge: Kiwi/Olive Green, Pumpkin Pie Orange, Aqua/Turquoise Blue

With these colors in mind here is what I came up with using some Unity and {ippity} stamps:

Here I used images from Unity and {ippity}. The owl is a Unity itty bitty. The sentiment and arrow stamp layered under the arrow are from the {ippity} line. Ippity is sold through Unity endorsed {ippity} chicks only which I am one! Let me be your chick! The {ippity} kit used here is called THE BEST. This kit is FABULOUS! Perfect for any stamper or scrapbooker!

Unity - {ippity} - Friends with Flair Friday!

TGIF! It's Friday and time for another Friends with Flair Unity style! Each week Unity fans post their creations and link them up to the Unity blog! Unity and {ippity} stamps can be used!

Now onto my creation for today using {ippity}! I decided to go the mixed media route and here is what I came up with for the current {ippity} challenge over on the {ippity} blog! This is a 6x6 Canvas Board. Be sure to head over there next to check it out there is a great prize up for grabs!

This wonderful bird is from the {ippity} kit called Music of My Heart. This kit is amazing! On this canvas I also used dragonflies from the kit called Thankful for You. And on the background I stamped in orange Stazon dots from Dots for Sure. The last two kits will be arriving in my shop shortly! Definitely let me know if you are interested in those or any kits at all!!

I can't believe it's our 100th challenge over at JUST US GIRLS!!! This is a group of ladies formed after Lauren Meader's sketch challenges came to an end. What a super fun group of crafty girlies to work with each week it's been an absolute pleasure!!

Unity Friends with Flair Friday

It's Friday again and time for another Unity Friends with Flair! This week I have a super simple card I made using a Unity Sentiment.




I used a kraft base and embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder. My picture images are actually mini notecards I got in the Micheal's bins. They come 12 in a pack, it's a fun and simple way to make some quick cards. I am hoping to make some more like these or similar to sell at some craft fairs I am going to do this fall.
