The 12 Days of Christmas! - Day 4 - Unity Friends with flair

I'm back once again to share another fun Christmas creation! One is brand new and one is a blast from the past.

Let me share the blast from the past first, I hope that you don't mind me sharing this for FWF as well. This is created using Unity Stamps using bitty Christmas tags. I made this probably a few years ago when Unity was young and I remember it was featured that week on the Unity blog which tickled me.

Time for Day 2! Let's see if I can keep this up for 12 days!

This is a canvas I made not too long ago. You may have seen it already. I used Tim Holtz, Memory Box and Unity stamps along with a very cool Christmas napkin as my background.

I loved how this came out so it's worth sharing it again! I have another fun one to share later on today. It's one of my blast from the pasts creations using Unity Stamps!

The 12 Days of Christmas! - Day 1

This year I have decided to do a little 12 days of Christmas! My son just pointed out this morning that there are 12 days left till Christmas so why not have some fun!

I will share all Christmas projects, images etc. Many may be some of my old time favorites that I created and some will be new.

'tis the season for some crafty fun!

I love following Tim Holtz's 12 Christmas Tags every year and usually like to play along. This year I just didn't get a chance except for one.

So mine came out looking pretty simple it doesn't have that wow factor like in Tim's but what the heck! :-)

Stay tuned each day for more Christmas fun! I just may have more than one on some days to share with you! Many things may even be listed in my Etsy shop!

Happy Holidays!

Friends with Flair

It's Friday and time for Friends with Flair Unity style. This week I made another canvas. This size is I believe 6 x 12 and it is a stretched canvas. I used Webster Pages papers and embellishments and of course Unity Stamps.

I also shared this on the Unity Facebook page as they are having a Christmas themed contest going on right now.

I used Tim Holtz grungeboard to create dimension with the flowers on bottom and the tree on the right.

Be sure to swing on by the Unity Blog to see who is playing along today for FWF!

Ho, Ho, Ho - A Christmas Canvas

This canvas was just fun fun using an 8 x 8 stretched canvas.

First I painted the canvas in a fun green acrylic paint. Then using mod podge glued down various pieces of pattern paper for the background. The center section where the fun tree is, is actually a paper Christmas napkin!

This is the actual package of napkins:

How much fun is that? I keep finding cool looking napkins at dollar and discount stores! To create the tree in the middle I adhered it to some grungeboard and used mod podge to adhere. Then using dimensionals I adhered it to the canvas to create dimension. Then I used stickles for the glitter on it.

I used some stamps on this as well. In the background I used some Unity Stamp Co. background stamps. The Santa image is by Tim Holtz and the "believe" is by Memory Box.

Well that's all for now!

Stay tuned for a new release from Queen Kat Designs tonight.

Till later!
