Queen Kat Royal Wedneday

It's Wednesday again and you know what that means, it's the Queen Kat Royal Wednesday Blog Hop! Get ready for a fun hop "VINTAGE" royal hop this week. That's right the challenge to the Royal Court was to making something vintage. Basically using the theme what vintage means to you. Is it a specific image, colors or design? Get ready because I know the Royal Court will knock your socks off.
If you came here from Queen Kat herself Vicki then you are on the right track. If not be sure to swing back to the QKD blog to start this awesome hop you won't want to miss a beat.

For this challenge my first thought is the sepia tone. You know the brown colors that are sort of "old-fashioned"? Did you ever take those antique photos at a carnival or fair? Where you dress up in old time clothes and they take your picture and it's printed in the sepia color? That's exactly the direction I went in, well minus the funny clothes. I altered a photo of my kids from almost 2 years ago and changed it to the sepia tone in my photo editing software. I pulled out some vintage type paper and my Timmy Holtz ink pads, here is what I came up with:

You can find all the images I used to stamp with, the background script, the sentiment on the photo and the libarary tag in the Queen Kat store and this is the perfect time to pick some up with a huge 35% off sale going on until June 29!
Now carry on and hop along to Andrea's blog for another one of her awesome vintage creations, you won't be disappointed!

Thanks for hopping with us today!

Till later..
