Unity Friends with Flair Friday

Hey there!

TGIF and time for a little friends with flair!  Be sure to swing on by the Unity Blog to check out all the great stuff going on and to see all the friends with flair participants.

This week I played with these supplies as well as some stencils not shown:

The Unity stamps are:

enjoy explore believe
Donna Poppies
SHEscript
Worn Grid

Before I even start sharing my process I wanted to share what these pages looked like before I started:

These are 2 pages in my book that where clean my stencils on pages, then at some point I sprayed on them and now just said no no no.  SOOO what I did was add Stampin Up text paper on top of these backgrounds to start my new background.  Another way to do that is to just gesso your page.

Here is the process of my background being created:

First lots of stencils inks and sprays with the help of my 7 year old daughter:

Next Donna Poppies, check out the size of these guys:

I stamped them in black archival ink and didn't know what I wanted to do next.  So I took some water color crayons and did this pink and blue:

But quickly realized it looked awful!  So I pulled out my Christy Tominlinson 6x6 pattern papers and stamped the flower on a few of those and cut them out:

And here is what I came up with:
