It's Technique week at Just Us Girls and this week we are paper piecing! So simple and oh so much fun! I LOVE IT and it's a great thing to do if you don't want to color. Pattern papers are so much fun check out my snowman:
This is from the Gina K Designs set called Warm Winter Wishes. My pink card stock is Gina K Designs Innocent Pink and Stampin Up Real Red. I used a pattern paper pack by My Mind's Eye called Kiss and Tell.
Geraldine Bailey GD, January Guest Designer
Just a reminder that Just Us Girls is starting up the Guest Designer position once again!! Winning Chic of the Week puts you in the running for the GD spot. At the end of the month, after we have all of our Chic's of the weeks for that month, the JUGS girls will decide who the Guest Designer will be for the following month!
How to play: Please copy and use our graphic on your post. You need to upload your new project [no back dating please] for this week's challenge to your online blog or to a public photo gallery. Leave a link that goes directly to your project in the Linky Tools form at the bottom of this post. If you upload to online galleries, please use the keyword or tag, JUGS223. After you post to Linky Tools you may also leave a comment here.
Deadline to be considered for the "Chic of the Week" is 9:00 PM EST on Thursday, Jan 16. The Linky Tools form will close at that time. Our top pick, "Chic of the Week", will be announced on the following Friday morning.

I love your little snowman all decked out in pink and red, Maria. We needed something bright and happy to help us through these cold, snowy days. Great job!
What a cute [and fun[] snowman!
That snowman is just darling! Those papers you chose work perfectly on those small areas.
I love the idea of using a snowman as a "love" card! I am gonna have to pull the snowmen stamps back out! Great colors and piecing!
