Stamping With The Oldies

Hey there!  This week over at Stamping With the Oldies we are pulling out old paper.  Try and find your first paper pad or sheets from your first paper purchase.  The technique is paper piecing!

I pulled out an old probably one of my very first Basic Grey packs to paper piece this great flower from Unity Stamp Co.  This flower is from a Unity Store Kit from a few years ago.

Unity Fabulous Feature Wednesday

It's Wednesday and time for another Unity Fabulous Feature Wednesday!  This week the chicks are featuring this great Halloween kit called "Halloween Greetings".  Check out the BLOG to see what all the chicks cooked up for this feature.

I have been creating on tiles again lately!  I love the whole mixed media thing so I like to try different things.  This creation is on a tile that measures 3x6 and it's just a plain white bathroom tile from the home improvement store.  These are great pieces to mess around with because they are so inexpensive usually one will cost around $ .40!

I am going to add a hook to the back to it can be hung up as a tile decoration.  The flower in the corner is a paper flower I think by Prima but it was pink.  SO I pulled out some glimmer mists and changed the color to match my plaque.

Time for Fall

Have you been over to a new blog I am invloved with called Stamping With The Oldies?  You should it's a fun inspirational blog to get you to use your old stuff in your stash!

This week our theme is FALL.  I love fall and the crisp cool air it brings!  So with that in mind I found some paper in my stash that I didn't know I had and it had owls on it.  I used the owls in the paper to create this fall themed card:

I'm going to be horrible and tell you I do not know the paper company but I guess that's what happens when things sit in your stash for a long time!  Anyhow, if you recognize it let me know.  The sentiment is by Unity Stamp Co and it's also a stamp I have not used in some time as well!

Flower Pens!

So I made this today to use at the school open houses this month for the PTA membership table.

I used a small plastic box and glued crayons on the front and back.  I was going to do the sides but decided against it and just glued a flower on each side.  I thought the crayons were cool since it's an elementary school etch...

While I was gluing down all the crayons I was having so much fun.  Now I have other ideas which might work well for my craft fair or to post in my Etsy or Zibbet shop!  Using the crayons I can make some fun teachers gifts!

Stamping WIth The Oldies

This week over at Stamping With The Oldies we do not have a theme or challenge so I decided to make a tag.

I pulled out some paper in my stash and covered the tag with it, then added some paper tape around the edges.  The stamp is by Unity Stamp Co and it's one that has been in my stash for a long time now but it was NEVER inked up!  I thought this would be a good time for that.  On the bottom I used a flattened bottle cap with some Tim Holtz paper inside it and added a dimensional glaze on it.

All in all I used stuff that has been in my stash for a while which is what we are all about here.  So I dare you to go through your stash and perhaps find a stamp you never inked up or that embellishment collection collecting dust!

New Unity Release
