Scrumptious Cupcakes & BLOG CANDY GIVE AWAY!

I received my new Lizzie Anne stamps on Friday. One that I got was the great cupcake and I had to ink it up immediately. Here is what I came up with...

I used Stampin Up's Rose Romance paper for my base and the Cuttlebug to created the embossed background.. I colored the cupcakes with markers and used my Gel Pens to add some shimmer to them. I used the scallop punch by Stampin Up to punch them out and my 1/8 inch punch to add the "lacy" border. The patterned paper is from a glitter DCWV stack pack. The mustard colored circles are from an unknown source, I had the paper in scrap. What is your favorite card stock to use? I have to admit I do love the Stampin Up weight and colors! I have to order some more, I actually don't have alot of it. I was up late last night going through the new catty deciding what I need. Card stock is on my list for sure.

I can't believe I have surpassed 2,500 hits!! Thanks to everyone who visits and leaves me comments. I think this is a great time for some blog candy!!! Leave me a comment, I'd love to know what brand card stock you love and use and what your favorite color (or color group) is. I will randomly pick a winner next Sunday.

Super cute card! I love that cupcake image! Congrats on all your hits - I know I love coming here! I used SU cardstock almost exclusively. I do buy the asst'd packs and then full packs of the colours that I love (choc. chip, kraft, pretty in pink, etc..).

Congrats on the hits! And a cute card, too! Don't you just love the cuttlebug embossing folders?

Okay... CS - I usually use DCWV unless I need a solid core - then I use Bazzill. Color? Definitely browns. Brown goes with anything!

Really cute card! I really like CTMH cardstock. I like the weight and it comes in alot of pretty colors. Right now my favorite color combos have been neutrals, just bought 2 packs of the antique and timeless colors from CTMH and they are all creams, browns and black.

This card looks fantastic. Those cupcakes are fantastic and the cuttlebug embossing matches so well with the patterned paper you chose. I really like it!! I used to use all SU cardstock but use a lot of arcobaleno cardstock now too.

FUN candy!!! I love it!!! I used to get the cheapest cardstock I could find....but just recently I got addicted to Stampin Up cardstock. I love how it matches the ink pads and the colors are so pretty. Right now I'm really in to the "in colors." Thanks!

I don't really care which brand cardstock I buy. I'm already happy when it's available in Belgian stores.
My favorite color combination is: brown-aqua or brown-pink.

I use Stampin' Up. That way everything matches. Right now I am on a Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White phase. Thanks for sharing!

Since I'm brand new to blogging, 1/19/08, leaving comments is new to me! So here goes: absolutely love the cupcake card. Very cute! I use Close to My Heart mostly (unless I run across Basic Grey that I just have to have). I also like the textured Bazzill!

Such a darling cupcake, Maria.
I am really not that picky when it comes to card stocks. I don't have a brand preference. As for colors-I go through a lot of pink, brown and balck.

Congrats on the HITS!!! woohoo!!! Well, I am a little picky on my cardstock. I LOVE LOVE LOVE DCWV!!!! I have tried many, but DCWV is my favorite!!

What a darling cupcake card!! My favorite brand of c/s is SU of course, and my favorite color group has got to be Earth Elements - I reach for them most every time. Congrats on your hits! Great website!!

Absolutely darling card!!! I'm becoming a BIG Lizzy Anne fan recently--supa cute stuff! I esp. love her darling space set!

As for CS--I'm an SU! CS junkie all the way. I LUV that it all coordinates with the ink/DP. I use the Earth Elements colors the most--then probably Rich Regals. I'm not much of a Bright/Pastely type girl.

Have a great weekend, sista!

Congrats on the hits. I think su is the best but I have some cheap walmart stuff. Thanks, Kathy H.
