Mothers & Daughters Challenge

The Mothers & Daughters Creations challenge this week was to make a masculine card. I had this cool image by Serendipty Stamps that I thought would make a great masculine card. I colored the image in using my Prismcolor and Copic markers. The image is large so I wasn't sure how well it would turn out but I think it turned out pretty good.

I started with Close to Cocoa and used the Cuttlebug distressed stripes folder that is mounted on River Rock. The striped patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Sugared line. I mounted that and the image on Chocolate Chip and River Rock. The brads are by Making Memories. Both layers are mounted using pop dots for dimension.
Edited: I just had to get a better picture of this card. I think this photo is much better. It's rainy and dark so I've been having trouble getting a really nice shot.

Thanks for stopping by.

This is so pretty - I love your take on the masculine challenge! I love that little piece of sugared paper behind - funny how sometimes a little piece of something will really accent the image! Beautiful job! Also lovin' your little butterfly card below - the colors are great and it's so pretty!
