OK finally I broke out the Gina K set called Just So Hipppy! This is the cutest set!
I stamped the hippo on a cool glittered patterned paper from one of my DCWV stack packs. This is from the new Spring Glitter pack! I swear I check Joanne's weekly for new packs, I'm obsessed! I cut the hippo out and added this cool flower brad for his tail. I think the brad is Making Memories. I cut 2 scalloped circle nestabilities and stacked them with the hippo in front. I used Stampin Up's Blush Blossom and Cameo Coral, then took the 1/8 inch punch and punched holes all around giving it a lace effect. The background patterned paper is the same I stamped the hippo on and the great blue glitter paper is also from the same DCWV stack! The ribbon is from my stash I got at AC Moore, where I have been scoring bags of random ribbon for a dollar.
Today in the AC Moore clearance section I found a bag of 12 x 12 paper for $2.00. It was sort of a grab bag of paper but for $2 I grabbed 2 bags. It was not a bad assortment, I'm sure I can make use of it at some point. My only problem is keeping all that 12x12 sized paper organized so I remember what i have and can find it. That is why I love the stack packs so much easier for me to store.
How do you organize your 12 x 12 paper?
Gotta run Lost is almost on!!
