OK I know that was a corny title but hey, I still thought it was cute. I mentioned that I won a contest to be a guest designer at Mothers and Daughters Creations here. I just rec'd some great goodies that I have been playing with.
This adorable bunny can be found here. I used white flock to give the bunny a fluffy appearance and my Prismacolor markers to color in a bit and Stickles for his ear and tail. Here is a close up of the bunny...
This great background paper is also from Mothers and Daughters Creations. Do you see that great sentiment in the lower right corner? It's not a stamp! It's a rub-on. It's by Imaginisce and can be found here. I have not used rub-ons at all really but I love how it came out. The flowers in the left corner is using a Marvy punch and stacking them with a glitter brad by Making Memories. The base of the card is using Stampin Up Purely Pomergranate. I know I have complained about missing Baroque Burgundy but this color rocks! I love it! I was very happy when the big brown truck arrived today with all my new SU goodies. Mostly paper, a punch (well 2), FREE sets, some ink. I figured it made sense to get my order in during Saleabration!
My only gripe about this card is my coloring or lack of with the bunny. I think I got hung up with making him all fluffy and I didn't add some color for the grass. But you know what I didn't even realize it until now, so I guess I liked it the way it was and I'm not going back. Every time I want to go back and "fix" something I mess it up. SO, leave it be it was meant to be that way! Did you even notice?
Thanks so much for visiting!
Till Later....

I think this came out really cute. That patterned paper is just perfect and the bunny looked great, I didn't even notice anything lacking at all.
Love that flocked bunny! I think he's perfect the way he is - the focus of the card. So pretty!
