Blushing Bride on the 4th of July

I know the 4th has passed but an awesome challenge is still going on at Clear & Simple Stamps, are you ready to take the challenge. Make any project using your Clear & Simple Stamps and be entered to win. Check here for all the details.

The design team has a little challenge of their own going on as well. We were challenged to make a 4th of July themed card using any one of the awesome Darlings. I decided to make a very nontraditional wedding card and use the I Do Darling. For this project I decided to use the gate fold type of card. Here is the outside of my card.

I used paper I picked up at the Target dollar spot and my flowers from the bridal section at Michael's. I colored the flowers with red and blue copic markers and added some red ribbon (source unknown) to hold the "gates" closed.

Here is the inside of the gate card to reveal the I Do Darling. I first colored her in using Copic markers and used lots of stickles glam it up a bit. Of course had to add more of those awesome Copic colored flowers and the sentiment from the set. I used SU dimensionals to adhere her to the inside so there is a bit of depth to it.
.
Check out the close up of the darling below, which shows all the great glitter.

So hop to it and check out the challenge. I hope you can play, let me know if you do.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope to get a bit more play time this week and have some Unity samples and samples from some really cute images I picked up this weekend while at a stamp show.

Thanks for stopping by!

Till Later.....
