Mothers & Daughters Challenge

Today was a challenge for the Mothers & Daughters Creations design team. I'm really excited to be a part of this wonderful team as a guest designer for March and April. Check out the wonderful creations by the other DT members here.

Today's challenge was to make a flip flop card. Check out this link for a tutorial. This is a really cute way to make a quick unique card.

For this challenge I pulled out some wonderful paper & stamps by Imaginisce. I have to say I love this awesome little penguin, he's perfect for summer cards. I love this paper and almost hate to use it!
I kept my little penguin card simple on purpose. I wanted that penguin and great paper to show! I paper pierced around the edges and added glitter to his nose and popsicle. I used Prismacolor markers to color in. On the inside it really needed a "finished" look. Guess what that great paper is DOUBLE sided!

That's all for now. Be sure to stop by later as I will have another Flip Flop card using some of the paper and stamps from Mothers & Daughters Creations. And don't forget to stop by the blogs of the DT members to see what they did with this challenge. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks for looking.

Till later....
