Lizzie Anne's Weekly Challenge.

Lizzie Anne Designs posted their weekly challenge in their forum last week. It was a nice sketch with a twist, to use it and create a masculine Valentine's card. That is indeed a challenge. I have (and I'll bet most of you guys do as well) so many "foofy" (is that a word LOL, it's a Mariaism as my DH would say) stamps which I love but always forget to think about masculine ones.


Anyhow, here is what I came up with. I decided to go with a red and black theme for color. I pulled out my distress inks from Ranger to create the look that I stamped the main image on. The background papers are from Cosmo Cricket and Daisy D's. I felt like it needed something more so I added the black buttons. For some reason today I was having issues getting a good photo, maybe because I used dark papers. That's it the dark papers, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! LOLOL.
