I loved Beate's chalkboard tutorial so much I tried it today using these great love birds from Inkadinkado. I started with a black base and used my Cuttlebug to emboss. After using this fantastic chalk technique I punched the birds out and mounted on a scalloped nestablities circle. The paper on the bottom is a very shimmery, patterned paper by DCWV. Sorry I could not capture how cool it does look. I added black ribbon and some bling as well.
