Chalkboard Love Birds

I loved Beate's chalkboard tutorial so much I tried it today using these great love birds from Inkadinkado. I started with a black base and used my Cuttlebug to emboss. After using this fantastic chalk technique I punched the birds out and mounted on a scalloped nestablities circle. The paper on the bottom is a very shimmery, patterned paper by DCWV. Sorry I could not capture how cool it does look. I added black ribbon and some bling as well.
Do you love Ribbon? If so head to your nearest AC MOORE! At my local AC Moore in the ribbon area they have bags of ribbon for a dollar! I got like 6 bags and you get alot of ribbon. Not sure exactly how much but here is my bag filled with that ribbon. Here are a couple of photos of the ribbon....
