Ippity Monday

It's Monday and time for some Ippity fun! Today I created a memory file folder. The template for this is from Gina K at Stamp TV. It's a freebie there so anyone can use the template to create their own. This is a box that will hold photos, cards and anything else that sparks your creativity.

I used a quote from the Ippity set called Where You Should Be. I currently offer this awesome set on my Ippity page here on my blog.

On the freebie page at Stamp TV you can download the template and memory cards that will fit in the box. On these (shown in the picture) you can write information about the pictures you put in the box so you don't forget. A thought I had about this box was to use these cards or to even make your own custom cards to write down your dreams and ideas and keep them safe. Perhaps you can file all the stamping techniques you love so you have the info at your fingertips. Loads of fun possibilities for this great box!

Here is the inside of the box. I left mine pretty simple but you can add some fun stuff inside to decorate it more.

I am also putting this creation in for this past week's Ippity Challenge to use chipboard on your creation. The glittery flower is actually chipboard which I colored with a prismacolor marker and added Stampin Up Dazzling Diamonds. I used score tape to adhere it and realized after I stuck it down it didn't work well in that spot but just left it there. If you know score tape it's fabulous but you can move things around. So I like this box but didn't like the position of that flower. Oh well, sometimes you just have to go with the flow.

As you probably already know I'm an Ippity Chick! I have a page set up on my blog HERE dedicated to my Ippity sets. Be sure to swing on by.

This past Saturday for the weekly Just Us Girls challenge we had a "preview" template from Lauren Meader and My Time Made Easy and on my template I used Ippity so I thought I'd share that again with you for Ippity Monday!

For this fun gift set I used the Ippity set Music of my Heart, also readily available from me. You can view my full post HERE.

That's it for now!

JUST US GIRLS SATURDAY CHALLENGE

It's Saturday and for another JUST US GIRLS CHALLENGE. Lauren Meader Owner/Designer of My Time Made Easy LLC is sponsoring this week's template challenge. Lauren has provided the JUGS DT with the Slip Cover template which will be released April 1st! So you are getting a fun sneaky peek at what is to come.

Here is what I did with my slip cover template:

This template is the perfect size for cards but why limit yourself to just cards. Sure a pack of handmade cards makes a great gift but what about other items right?

Here is a inside view of mine:

I used Music of My Heart set by Ippity. I wanted to carry the music theme into my gift so I included an iTunes gift card and some lovely body wash. Take a nice bath and listen to your iTunes. What would you find on my iPod (if I had one) Bon Jovi for sure! LOL!

Did you get yourself some Ippity stamps yet? They are top quality rubber stamps and you can't get them from an online store or from the Ippity site. You can only get them from Ippity Chicks (reps). Come stop by my Ippity section of my blog and get yours today. I currently have a few sets in stock and ready for immediate shipping. If you are looking for a set I don't have in stock I can get it for you.

Come play along with JUGS this week for a chance to win! All you have to do to play along, is to use ANY template of your choice! If you own a MTME template, we would love to see you create a project using that template or if you don't own one, Lauren has a free template: HERE :) One randomly drawn lucky participant will receive a FREE template from Lauren!

Be sure to visit the JUGS DT for amazing inspiration with this fabulous template:

I used this week's Friday Freebie for my project and created a summer, beach themed photo frame:

Treehouse Challenge Thursday

It's time for another Treehouse Thursday Challenge. Today's challenge is being present by our very own company owner Ashley Bowen. This week she has challenged us to create a card using this sketch and any theme. Here is the sketch:

Here is my take on the sketch. I used the digi stamp Sunflower Bouquet.

So I debated for a bit about what to use in the little circle and then went with the smaller version of the flowers. Was not sure if it worked or not but I think it is ok. LOL!

When you upload your card to SCS, PCP, and your blog make sure and use the keyword THT042. We hope you can come play along with us this week. Would you like a button to show that you follow the Treehouse Thursday Challenge? Click HERE.

Be sure to swing by the Treehouse Stamps store for a big sale going on: March 24 - March 26 Buy any 5 digi or rubber stamps sets for $19.95!

Happy Birthday to My Sweet Angels

Today my sweet angels turn 4! I can't believe it's been four year since I welcomed 2 beautiful babies into this world. What a fabulous whirlwind that has been. They are the best little people ever!
I made this layout for the scrapbook challenge for the Gina K release on Stamp TV.

Closeup:

The images I used are by Gina K and called Dream Birds, it's a fabulous fun set. I used lots of stickles for glitter and glam.

This is a photo of my sweeties when they were ready to come home! Oh my sweet angels. They are way too cute because they call me an angel! They say "Mama you are a beautiful angel", isn't that the sweetest thing ever?

Well that's it for now. Time for some birthday fun!

Dolphin Smile - Cornish Heritage Farms, SMC Sponsor

Oh don't you love how dolphins always look so happy? Maybe that's why I love them so much. OK, I don't swim but have been to sea world a few times and stood by the tank for hours! And we stood in a pool with a dolphin once in the Caribbean to pet it.

This month Cornish Heritage Farms is an amazing sponsor at Sew Many Cards. I had the opportunity to play with one of their sets and it happens to be of a dolphin, called Emerging Dolphin - Smile.

Ippity Monday - Music Of My Heart

Happy Monday! Welcome to another Ippity creation. This week I pulled out the Ippity kit "Music Of My Heart"

Check out the awesome images in this kit. You get 8 stamps and these are large wonderful quality stamps. The music stamp measures approximately 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches!

Remember you can't buy Ippity in any store or online store, you can only buy Ippity from an Ippity Rep, like myself :-)

I currently have 4 kits in stock and ready to ship with plans to add more. However, if you are familiar with Ippity and would love a set not listed yet please do not hesitate to let me know.

Now, onto my creation for today. I made a bookmark. While in Michael's last week I picked up a pack of white bookmarks. I think they are meant for kid's crafting because they were in the craft section not rubber stamping section and they are made of a nice cardboard. That is fabulous though because it makes them thicker and stronger.
Close up of hearts:

I embossed the hearts and stamped the music in Memento Ink London Fog which I mounted using an SU dimensional.

Be sure to swing by my Ippity page for more details on Ippity Stamps and see how you can get started with Ippity Stamps.

Well that's it for now!

Ippity Challenge

I would have had this posted early today but we lost internet/cable and phone last night around 7pm and it just came back not too long ago! I was fine without the cable and phone but no internet, now that is a problem!

Anyhow, this past week's Ippity Challenge over in the Ippity forum at SCS was to do some dry embossing! Easy peasy I say! I love my Cuttlebug and embossing folders. I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder. You can see the dots in the lower panel and I will show a close up as well.

I attempted to go with something a little different, not sure what I think. I was thinking a bit of the shabby chic look for this one. I used the Ippity set called "Where You Should Be". You can get yours from me as I am an Ippity Chick. Check out my page HERE.

I paper pieced the leaves. I used Gina K solid card stock and the pattern paper I believe is from K & Co. I used the Boho Blossoms punch from Stampin Up to create the paper flowers.

More views:

Do you Ippity? If you are not familiar Ippity are TOP quality rubber stamps available only through Ippity Chicks. Ippity is a sister company of Unity Stamp Co.

I would love to be your Ippity Rep come check out my page on my blog here: IPPITY

The sets that I have listed are sets I have in stock ready to ship immediately! I will be adding more soon. But if you are familiar with Ippity and you don't see a set you want just LET ME KNOW as I can get them!

Last week I showed you a few samples using the kit called "Where You Should Be" and this week I will be using a new set.

One more view for you:

This close up shows the embossing for the challenge using the Swiss Dots embossing folder on my pattern paper. I thought that gave it a cool effect.

Well that's it for now!

Till tomorrow and the Ippity Blog Hop!

Sew Many Cards Friday Challenge

It's Friday and time for yet another fun challenge with SEW MANY CARDS. This week our challenge is to make an Easter project.

But first our awesome sponsor this week is Stamps Alive! If you play along this week by linking to the Mr Linky on the SMC Challenge blog you will have a chance to win a prize from our amazing sponsor. Here is a little info on the owner of Stamps Alive -Teri Olsen:

"I started my business in 1993 to give me something to do. I had worked all my life and recently quit to be a stay at home mom to my new baby. I've always been interested in paper products and I didn't like paying full price for some of the things I wanted. So I started my business. I like to pass my savings on to others. I've made some really good friends over the years. I've always been a small business I only advertise word of mouth. Over the years I've kept as busy as I wanted to be.
It has been very interesting to see the hobby industry change over the years. I had a "scrapbook" store in my basement before Las Vegas knew what a scrapbook store was. I've dealt with Provo Craft the entire 17 years I've been in business and that has been fun, to watch them change!!"

I used the "Halen Back" image for my Easter plaque.

I digitally colored the image first, then printed it and cut it out. The plaque is wooden a simple one that I got at Walmart. I painted it white (for priming) then added the lavendar, using acrylic paints. I used glossy modge podge to adhere the image and applied the modge podge over the entire piece for a shine. I used Ranger Stickles for my eggs and Stampin Up white flock for the tail. My sentiment are stickers I had in my stash from when I collected stickers for scrapbooking.

Ippity Very Vintage

Monday's challenge over at SCS was to create a card with a vintage theme called "Very Vintage". I pulled out some papers that I got from a Stampington publication awhile ago. You know sometimes they have free sheets in the magazine. This paper was very cool and vintage of sewing materials. I pulled out my Ippity Stamps Where You Should Be to put something together. This is something very different today than my Where You Should Be creation from yesterday.

This is a fabulous fun Ippity set check out the stamps in this set you can get yours here:

Here is what I came up with for this fun challenge:

Here is a close up of the ribbon:

I basically just folded it on itself and used tacky tape (or score tape) to make it stick.

Well that's it for now! If you are looking to get some Ippity check it out here. If you are looking for a set I don't yet have listed please let me know!
