Clear & Simple Stamps is sponoring Caardvarks

This week Clear & Simple Stamps is sponsoring Caardvarks. This week the challenge is to make a circle card! What fun! I love making cards of different shapes.

I decided to use my scalloped nesties and the large one is my main part of my card. I used the second largest one for my second layer of pattern paper.

My base paper is Cranberry tart by Gina K, the pattern paper is by Gina K and the flowers are Primas. The green one was actually a pink flower but I colored it with my olive green copic marker and it works perfectly. The adorable snowmen is actually a sneak peek at an awesome set being released from Clear & Simple Stamps on Nov 15.

Take the Challenge Tuesday - Let's Get Punchy!

Today is time for another TTC with Clear & Simple Stamps. This month's challenge is called "Let's Get Punchy"! The challenge is to pull out your punches and use them in fun and unique ways.

I used the October CSS stamp of the month called Spooky Treats for my fun sentiment. I made a very simple card but I think it works well for this challenge.

I created a 3D pumpkin image. I used a 1 1/2 inch circle punch and punched 4 circles to create this. I embossed each using the swiss dot embossing folder for the cuttlebug and folded them in half. I used score tape to adhere them all together and added them to the card. The stem is made from some "hemp" twine adhered to the back.

Here is a close up of the pumpkin:

The CSS DT is playing so be sure to swing by their blogs to say hi and see what they cooked up using punches. Also we would love to chat with you in our PCP Forum, so swing on by and say hi!

That's it for now!

Take the Challenge Tuesday - Cover it!

This month's Take the Challenge Tuesday with Clear & Simple Stamps design team is to "Cover it".

Do you remember how we always had to "cover" our textbooks? Do the kids still do that? I remember using brown paper bags, today I think the kids have really cool book covers to use. Anyhow, this month our challenge was to cover/alter a notebook. I decided to cover a small pocket sized compo notepad.

I used the new "Get In Gear" which is the September's stamp of the month at CSS.

Be sure to swing by the design team to see what fun stuff they cooked up for this challenge.

Get ready because on September 15 is the "Playtime Release"!! There will be some more awesome sets coming out that you won't want to miss!
