Anyhow, here is what I came up with. I decided to go with a red and black theme for color. I pulled out my distress inks from Ranger to create the look that I stamped the main image on. The background papers are from Cosmo Cricket and Daisy D's. I felt like it needed something more so I added the black buttons. For some reason today I was having issues getting a good photo, maybe because I used dark papers. That's it the dark papers, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! LOLOL. Anyhow, I hope you can view it ok. Thanks for looking.

Lizzie Anne Weekly Sketch Challenge
I embossed the background SU paper using my swirls embossing folder for the Cuttlebug. The background paper is from a DCWV stack pack. I colored this cutie in using markers and adhered it to a darker pink background. On a recent trip to Michael's I picked up some great bling bling in the dollar section and that is what I put on the four corners. I think this came out very simple but cute. Part of the challenge was to use the sketch but to also incorporate stitches! Oh, my cute little craft sewing machine is still sitting there because I can't figure it out! (I've never been one to sew and I've never used a sewing machine:-) ) Soo... I went with faux stitches, or tried... I know this gal needs a sentiment added but I decided to leave it simple.

Lizzie Anne Weekly Challenge
I was having trouble getting a good shot of it with the camera. I think it looks better in person. What do you think? I know Meredith said no layers, so I wondered about using embellishments. Did no layers just mean paper layers etc? Well, I just decided to say yes and go with that which made it more challenging. I think the white background is a bit boring, but I didn't get a chance to redo or try and fix. Let me know what you think.
