Treehouse Challenge Thursday

Treehouse Challenge Thursday!

It's Thursday and time for another Treehouse Challenge! This week we have a theme and it is "What are you thankful for?". So with this I decided to not make a card but do something with a picture of my family! Here is what I came up with:

I used a circle chipboard page from an album. This is a page from an album I picked up at Michael's in the dollar bin! I have a bunch of these ready for some altering. Anyhow, I made some of the flowers using the Christmas pattern paper from Stampin Up. I thought the green would look nice. My background paper is I believe from Cosmo Cricket.



The Treehouse set I used is called Sweetest Flower.

Treehouse Challenge Thursday

It's Thursday and time for another Treehouse Stamps Challenge. This week's challenge is to make candy wrappers. Here is what I came up with:

I used the pumpkin from fall blessing and in photoshop I put them together and added the sentiment. It's so easy to make these. I seriously didn't follow a template I just took a Hershey Bar (oh one of my favs) and wrapped cardstock around it and judged as to where I should score it so it would fit nicely.

Treehouse Challenge Thursday

Welcome to another Treehouse Thursday Challenge. This week we have a color challenge: Orange, Purple and Black.

Here is what I came up with using a few halloween digi's together:
The fun part about using digital stamps is you can manipulate the size and create scenes easily on your computer. I added glitter to these guys for some glitz! I also distressed the edges around the black. My flower is a little Prima with a button in the middle.

Treehouse Challenge Thursday

Welcome to another Treehouse Thursday Challenge. This week our challenge is called "For the Teacher".

I wanted to use some new images that are coming up in the next release on Oct 1 and here is what I came up with:

I thought a fun ornament and little gift bag for it would be appropriate for a teacher. The bag is a template from My Time Made Easy. I made the flower which is based on Tim Holtz's technique. I referred to this great tutorial on Youtube HERE. They are so much fun to make I've been making lots of them lately for projects.

Treehouse Challenge Thursday

This week fellow DT member Gloria has picked a great color challenge for us: Pink, Mellow Moss, White plus one of your choice. For my card I used the digi set called Little Tweety

I put the little birds together and added the setiment all digitally. It's fun playing around with all the digtal elements. My plus color is red. I used pattern paper from Stampin Up.

Dog Days

Well it is certainly the dog days of summer! I really don't like this super hot weather, today I think it was about 93 degrees!! OH MY!

I decided while cool in the air conditioned house I'd make a card using the Treehouse Stamps Digi set called Dog Days of Summer. For this I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers and flipped it on it's side.

I digitally added the sentiments to the clouds then printed the image. I colored with copics and added stickles for some glitz! The solid papers are by Stampin up and the pattern by Basic Grey.

Treehouse Challenge Thursday

Does everybody know what time it is? TOOL TIME! (sorry I couldn't resist that one). But this week Katie Tate picked out our Treehouse Stamps challenge and it's called Tool Time, use your favorite paper crafting tool. I picked my CUTTLEBUG! The best Christmas present ever, which I got a few years ago. I used my BUG along with some nesties and embossing folders to make this cutie patootie:

I used the newly released and super adorable set called: Happy Dragon. My cardstock is SU Pixie Pink and pattern paper is from Cosmo Cricket DeLovely. My image is a digi and was digitally colored.
