Mothers & Daughters Winter Challenge

This week's challenge for Mothers & Daughters Creations is to make a winter card. I used this cute snowman from Imaginisce and the paper is also from imagainisce. Isn't it cool how it matches? I love it.

Queen Kat Release Day!

Today is the day for the Queen Kat January release! LOTS of great stuff coming out you won't want to miss it.

Check out this adorable "shroomie". Not your typical image for Valentine's Day but what the heck I think it works. I added some Dew Drops for a jeweled look on the mushrooms as well as Lime Green Stickles for the grass.

Weekly Sketch Challenge

Are you ready for a new year of fun sketches from Lauren? Here is today's fantastic sketch.

I have to admit those little squares through me for a loop at first, LOL! I pulled out this set I had forever from Cat's Pajamas that I never inked up. It's a cute Valentine themed one. Even though I was thrown for a loop in the end I think it worked out nicely. I used a mix of scraps for this card actually. I think the pattern paper was from last year Target's dollar spot and the pink was just in my stash from an unknown source. I used the scallop circle nesties to cut out the circle.

There you have simple and sweet.

Happy 2009! Another year gone! Time goes by too fast! I hope you had a safe holiday and all the best for a healthy New Year.

I know I'm a little late posting this but this week's challenge for the Mothers & Daughters Creations crew is to make a holiday themed thank you card. Now that the holidays are over it's time to get those thank yous out.

I used this awesome mailbox by Serendipity Stamps. Colored it in with Copics and added stickles. The great little sentiment is by Daisy Bucket. On my background I used a snowflake embossing folder for the Cuttlebug. And my pattern paper is by My Little Yelllow Bicycle.
