Mixed Media Mojo

It's time for another Mixed Media Mojo challenge!  This month we have a great sponsor once again with Everything Mixed Media!

This month our theme is Birthday with a twist of Balloons!  I was a little bias this month and picked this challenge because my babies (b/g twins) turn 11 in March! How did that happen?

I used the new Dina Wakley Media Journal.  This is one of the watercolor pages.

Dream Girl - Just Us Girls Color Week

It's time for another fun challenge with JUST US GIRLS!  This week Judy is our hostess for COLOR WEEK.  She picked RED, BLACK and KRAFT.  I had a crazy week and almost didn't get a chance to make something but found some time and made this simple card:

Sometimes you just have to keep it super simple.  Here i used a red striped background from a Recollections paper pad and red ribbon.  My image is stamped on (and base) a kraft paper from Stampin Up called "Crumb Cake. The image is called "Dream Girl" from Unity Stamp Co.

Just Us Girls

This week is Word Week!  And our hostess Lisa has picked Dogs as our word!  Here is a dog card I made using this cute dog from Unity Stamp Co called: "Sheepishly Sweet"

I colored the dog using simple watercolors, used my big shot to emboss a background panel and used some fun washi tape on the side.
