Just Us Girls - Anything Goes Week

Welcome to another Just Us Girls!  This week Vicki is our fabulous hostess with Wild Card week and she picked "Anything Goes"! I hope you will come play!  Vicki is even tossing in a prize this week if we get over 75 entries to the challenge.

With it being the 4th of July this coming week in the US I wanted to do a patriotic themed card.  This set was just released over at Unity Stamp Co and it's called Stronger Together. 

I colored the flowers with Tombo markers and added a few drops to the centers using Nuvo Glitter Drops.

Just Us Girls Photo Week

It's photo week this week with Just Us Girls and I'm the hostess.  Well you all know how much I love owls and this photo I found on Pinterest was perfect!  I hope you will come on over to JUST US GIRLS and play along with us!

The pineapple is from Avery Elle and I paper pieces it.  I grabbed the yellows and green, the pineapple and the owl from the photo! The owl and sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.  Pattern papers by Recollections and the cardstock from Stampin Up.

This beautiful flower I used water colors to color it.  I added Spetrum Noir sparkle to it but the camera didn't pick it up. The sequins on the bottom are Unity's new sequins.  These are from the Elsa pack.

Just Us Girls Trend Week

It' Trend week and Alcohol Inks is our challenge.  I created my background using a dry technique that Sally Lynn MacDonald created to use on the Gel Press plate!  Basically you apply alcohol inks t a gel press plate and because they dry pretty quick you can then using a basic paint pull a print.  Check out her great video here.

Just Us Girls Photo Week

Nancy is our hostess for photo week and she picked this beautiful sunflower image!  I love sunflowers!  I was running late this week making my card and for some reason could not find my sunflower stamp.  I know I have at least one or two.  So I went with this image from Unity Stamp Co because I figured it looked like a sunflower a bit at least (sort of).  

The picture didn't capture it well but I used yellow stickles on the flower for some glitz and shine.
