Let's get Merry with Just Us Girls

Just Us Girls Photo Week

Here is what I did using this inspiration:

For my background I used glossy paper. Stamped in the background using perfect medium then with a brayer put on SU's Strawberry Slush ink. I stamped the ornaments and heat embossed with sliver. The silver "hangers" for the ornaments are from Webster's Pages.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today I'm up on the Mixed Media Mojo blog and shared this small canvas:

I will also share the rest of the post here for you but please come on by to the MIXED MEDIA MOJO blog and check us out!

I took a few pictures of some steps. I started with Dyluisons paints using a baby wipe:

Added some stamps

Cut out a pumpkin using Stampin Up paper and adhered down. I was going to paint the pumpkin but then decided to cut out a pumpkin in pattern paper and adhered that down.

The white dots on the pumpkin are using a stencil and Rangers Texture Paste, which I will say is awesome! I stamped GIVE THANKS (Unity Stamp Co) on paper and layered it with green. Using Scrap Dots by Helmar I adhered to panel so it's a little raised. Finally I doodled around using a white signo pen.

Just Us Girls - TREND WEEK

It's Saturday and I'm over on the JUST US GIRLS challenge blog with this week's Trend Challenge! We are watercoloring this week!

Here is what I came up with using 2 Christmas Sets: Dina Wakely's Christmas Birds and Dyan Reaveley's Seasonal Stamp and Stencil set.

I stamped in Ranger Archvial ink then colored using simple water colors.

Mixed Media Card Challenges

The beginning of the month also brings a new challenge over at The Mixed Media Card Challenges!

This month's challenge is a theme of Family and optional element: Arrows:

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

This week at Just Us Girls it's Wild Card week and we are making one layer cards. Here is what I did using Unity Stamp Co's kit called Little Tricks Halloween.

I stamped and colored with a watercolor. Added stickles glitter to parts and used a black pen to outline the edges.

Trick or Treat BOO!

Happy Halloween Week!

Today I'm up on the Mixed Media Mojo blog with a Halloween creation on a small canvas.

I was able to take a few pictures along the way. The base started with Ranger's Dylusion's paints applied with a baby wipe and using the small daubers by Tim Holtz.

This BOO stamp I carved myself. The black stripes here are by using a credit card.

I added some gel using punchenella

I used this old Unity Stamp and stamped it on pattern paper

This cute pumpkin is my own carving as well
