I'm up on the UNITY BLOG today sharing some cards I made using 2 stamp sets!

I used the February background of the month called  assorted blooms. It's so perfect for Springtime and such a versatile set. I decided to pair my creations with the newest birthday sentiments called Snarky Birthday Greetings.

This week I'm showcasing these pretty flowers from the February Kit of The Month from Unity Stamp Co.

I colored the flowers with alcohol markers and used Stampin Up cardstock.  The pattern paper is a pack from Recollections from Michaels and I used the square dies from Unity Stamp Co.

These cute bunnies and sentiment are a part of the FEBRUARY Kit of the Month.  I colored them in with alcohol markers. I just love these guys!  The perfect springtime image for Easter, Birthdays or just a well wishes type of card.

Since this is the last Wednesday in January I will share a second project with you.  This one is using the background of the month as well as more Unity Dies called Say it With Love.  

Can you tell I love Unity Dies!!  They really are amazing, cut so well.  I use an old Big Shot and it works great.  They cut through quickly I don't have to keep running it through the machine like some other dies.

December 31 day Challenge!

 Happy Sunday!!!  In December I decided to participate in Doodlewash's month long prompt inspired challenge.  They host monthly challenges with a prompt for each day of the month.  Most folks are using watercolors to create their art as the site is mainly a watercoloring site. However their challenges do say Draw/Paint soooo I went with drawing using graphite only.  

I did do all 31 days of December in a small dedicated sketchbook and to make it easier to share created this video:

I used various references from googling ideas online or in some cases went with my own intuition.  I love to draw and am inspired to consistently practice to get better.  But most of all have a blast playing around.

I

It's been a hot minute since I've posted here and few crazy years later and I thought I'd come back.  I wanted to start sharing more card creations again as well as art creations.

I am still a part of the amazing Unity Stamp Co design team since 2016!  It's an amazing stamp company with a great group of woman (& man).   To kick off this new year the head of the Design Team did a great feature of all the DT members on the Unity Show & Tell facebook page.  This is a page where all those who love and us Unity share their creations. 

Here is my feature:

Covid threw a few wrenches in my card making since my hubby was working from home he was now full time in the office where my card making supplies are.  To move all that some where else wasn't going to happen.  So I didn't get to make cards as much as I would have liked. 

I decided to leave Just Us Girls during that time because I couldn't commit to once a week at that point.  I loved being on that team and those girls are amazing. 

During this strange time I started painting in journals and following 2 amazing artists Tracey Weinzapfel and Alisa Burke.  Then early last year I reignited my passion to continue to draw (something which I have always done since I was a little girl) when I found Karen Campbell of Awesome Art School.  

I thought now might be a fun time to start this blog up again and get some posts going sharing all these crafty things I love!!
