Ippity Very Vintage

Monday's challenge over at SCS was to create a card with a vintage theme called "Very Vintage". I pulled out some papers that I got from a Stampington publication awhile ago. You know sometimes they have free sheets in the magazine. This paper was very cool and vintage of sewing materials. I pulled out my Ippity Stamps Where You Should Be to put something together. This is something very different today than my Where You Should Be creation from yesterday.

This is a fabulous fun Ippity set check out the stamps in this set you can get yours here:

Here is what I came up with for this fun challenge:

Here is a close up of the ribbon:

I basically just folded it on itself and used tacky tape (or score tape) to make it stick.

Well that's it for now! If you are looking to get some Ippity check it out here. If you are looking for a set I don't yet have listed please let me know!

Treehouse Challenge Thursday and Tutorial

This week at the Treehouse it's my turn to pick the challenge and I have a sketch challenge in store for you. I also have a little picture tutotrial to share. Be kind it's my first.

First up here is the sketch for this week:

Here is what I came up with:

When you upload your card to SCS, PCP, and your blog make sure and use the keyword THT039. We hope you can come play along with us this week.

Check out what the DT members have come up with HERE. You will also want to swing by the store for some specials and deals and just the other day there was a digi release so check it out HERE.

Next up is my gift card tutorial. Last week for our bling challenge I made a gift card holder using the tutorial given by Gina K at Stamp TV. So this week I made another one and put together a little photo tutorial on how it did it. I used all the basics from Stamp TV but added some ribbon instead of the magnets she used.

I have tried to label all the photos:

/>

WOW, that is alot of photos! So did it all make sense? I hope you can see it all, sorry for a few blurry photos. This was my first time posting a tutorial of sorts so I would love to know it if was good, ok or just awful! LOL!

Now be sure to head on over to the Treehouse Blog for some inspirational fun from the Design Team!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I'm now selling Ippity Stamps

Ippity

So I've hopped on the Ippity bandwagon! In case you have not heard Ippity is a "sister" company of Unity Stamp Co (surely you have heard of them?) I have loved Unity from the very beginning and when they came out with the Ippity Opportunity I thought that was fabulous. I was an SU demo for a little bit of time awhile ago and loved the possibilities with that. Although SU was hard to keep up with Ippity is so flexible and for me that rocks.

I have started a page here on my blog for my Ippity Stamps HERE. If you are considering buying some Ippity I would love to be your rep. I will continue working on my Ippity page to bring you more products. And soon I will begin posting fun ideas as well.

So I hope you will come with me on my Ippity journey. If you have any questions/suggestions please send me a mail I would love to hear from you.

Thanks for stopping by!

Stamp TV CSS Auditions #2

Here is a second card I made for the Stamp TV - Gina K March CSS "auditions". For this one I used the awesome butterfly from Hope is Faith set.

The challenge calls for using 2 of the newest colors from the Spring Assortment as well as a new stamp set. I used Creme De Menthe and Lovely Lavender. The green buttons match Creme De Menthe and are also from the spring assortment.

Well that's it for now!
