National Scrapbook Day Unity Challenges

What a busy weekend! Happy Mother's Day to all celebrating today!

Yesterday was National Scrapbook Day and Unity was celebrating with some fun challenges over at My Unity Place!

I am hosting one of these challenges as well which is super exciting! My challenge is called "Material Girl", yes since I named the challenge the song is still in my head! The challenge is simple and it's to use material/fabric on your layout! Only layouts using your Unity/Ippity Stamps are allowed for this challenge.
Here is what I came up with:

I made fabric flowers in the lower right corner. I used white muslin and a Unity stamp from the Devotion Collection: Love Never Fails. I created a bloom using the same technique that Lesley Langdon used in her tutorial a few weeks back. The dark pink flower was created using the burnt flower technique.

Come swing on by MY UNITY PLACE and check out the forum for all the National Scrapbook Day challenges! You have all week to participate and a chance to win a Melody Ross/Unity Kit!
